LEADERSHIP IN INSTALLATION AND APPLICATION RELIABILITY:

Roof curb: The Centurion easily replaces the current Carrier high efficiency products by using the same roofcurb that may have been installed decades ago! The potential cost savings is in the thousands by saving on purchasing and installation of a transition curb.

Side-Supply: The Centurion eliminates the need for a curb adapter for side-shot applications. The Centurion is manufactured as a downshot that is field convertable into a side supply rooftop.

TXVs/Refrigerant Circuits: The Centurion offers dual or triple fully independent refrigerant circuits that have Thermal Expansion Valves that closely match building load requirements — no need for inefficient hot gas bypass modifications to meet cooling loads.

Scroll Compressors: Each independent refrigerant circuit has its own, extremely reliable, scroll compressor that has internal and external vibration isolation.

OPERATING COSTS:

EER: Industry Leading effiency in 12.5-25 ton constant volume rooftops. The rooftops feature up to 11.5 EER. Save up to 25% of unit cost within the first year.

TXV's: Because TXV's closely manage refrigerant loads required from the space, the rooftop more precisely matches those cooling needs as necessary.

Triple Refrigerant Circuits: Triple independent circuits with scroll compressors offer the best in part-load capability in our 15-20 ton Centurion units. The units can operate down to 33% loading without the need for inefficient hot gas bypass modifications.

COMFORT/INDOOR AIR QUALITY:

Dehumidification and Reheat: Carrier will offer the patented MoistureMi$er package that effectively boosts the rooftop latent capacity by up to 40%. With this exclusive offering there is no need to oversize the rooftop or overcool the space in order to maintain humidity levels. This is smart 21st century technology that can be controlled via a Carrier Thermidistat or any humidistat and doesn't need consistent chemical cleaning in order to function efficiently and effectively. This will be a factory installed option and is warranteed by Carrier.

UV-C Lamps: Carrier patented technology that addresses poor air quality at the source. The UV-C lamp effectively kills mold and bacteria at its source and thereby prevents mold and bacteria from entering the conditioned space and into occupants lungs. This is factory installed and warranteed by Carrier.

Gear-Driven Economizer and CO2 sensor: The Centurion uses a gear-driven economizer and Belimo actuator to bring in fresh air into a space that needs ventilating — a great compliment to Carrier Demand Control Ventilation systems.

Standard 2" and 30% pleated filters: Help clean the air of contaminants prior to reaching the conditioned space.

USER FRIENDLY ComfortLink™ CONTROLS:

Unequivocally the best and most cost effective means of precisely metering, measuring, and managing Indoor Air Quality, Comfort and Energy Consumption.

This IS the building HVAC automation system, simply daisy chain the rooftop units together and run the cable to your computer/ComfortView software and you can monitor/read/write to control every rooftop — peer-to-peer — and do it fast at 38.4K! There is no need to add an additional expensive black box to communicate with your rooftops.

This quality product has a scrolling marquee that scrolls in either English, Spanish, French, or Portuguese; there is no need to attempt to decipher flashing LEDs.

WORLD CLASS SERVICE CONVENIENCE FEATURES:

Hinged access panels are standard on all service panels. Saves the service engineer time and the building owner money by decreasing labor time.

The slide-out fan deck is a standard service feature that is a Must! to easily, properly, and safely maintain the rooftop fan system.

Easily accessible and easy clean coils are an important feature in order to keep the unit clean and prevent dirt/mold/bacteria from entering the building.

Convenience outlet and non-fused disconnect are options that can be factory mounted to meet any specification.

Scrolls compressors and piping are extremely accessible for future service needs.
