Unlike single-stage furnaces that deliver heat unevenly,
the SoftSound VS 90 Variable Speed Two-Stage Gas Furnace
provides remarkably consistent heat and overall comfort. The
difference is that the two-stage system produces heat for normal
temperatures most of the time, automatically ramping up the
furnace to higher heat production as needed. Unlike the single-stage
furnace, which heats fast and shuts down fast because it's set for the
coldest extremes, the SoftSound VS 90 furnace keeps your home cozy,
without those annoying hot and cold spots.
Welcome silence.
The SoftSound VS90 furnace is remarkably quiet, thanks to its two-stage operation and variable speed circulation blower. The furnace runs quietly in the slower speed, and gently-quietly-increases to the higher speed as more heat is needed. The furnace's solid doors, cabinet insulation and burner enclosure also work to dampen sound. You can even program the furnace's variable speed blower to run continuously at the lower speed (in conjunction with the air filter) to improve air quality year round. Prewiring also allows for the easy addition of electronic air filters and humidifiers.

Single Stage Multi-Position NG33 X13 Gas Furnace
These compact units employ induced combustion, reliable hot surface ignition and high heat transfer aluminized tubular heat exchangers. The units are factory shipped for installation in upflow or horizontal applications and may be converted for downflow applications. These furnaces are designed for residential installation in a basement, closet, alcove, attic, recreation room or garage and are also ideal for commercial applications. All units are factory assembled, wired and tested to assure safe dependable and economical installation and operation. Units are Category IV listed and may be vented either through side wall or roof applications using approved plastic combustion air and vent piping.
